Sharon's grandfather's shells that inspired SHELL SONG are the centerpiece of this exhibit about the family treasures that connect us.

Honouliuli National Historic Site
10th Anniversary Events & Park Development
Sharon's grandfather was one of the 400 Japanese Americans incarcerated at Honouliuli Internment Camp, along with 4,000 POWs. In 2025, Sharon was honored to be part of the 10th anniversary events and to have a voice in the plans to preserve this site for future generations.
